I was thinking again about the class I taught last night for 4 wonderful ladies – each with a baby between 6 months and age 1. Their weekly exercise class for one was the only time to get 
together with girlfriends.
This also reminded me of all the other jewelry/skincare/shopping home parties that are out there right now being promoted as a wonderful way to get the girls together for a little time away from the chaos of life.
Don’t get me wrong – I love all these parties and the fun products out there but instead of buying more stuff – what about a home party where you get the girls together for a fitness/yoga class and maybe a healthy snack and brief feel good discussion on strategies for self-care, wellness & balance.
