“We all possess more power and greater possibilities than we realize, and visualizing is one of the greatest of these powers.” Genevieve Behrend
I am visualizing myself:
- Completely caught up on my work 🙂 (or at least at peace with where I’m at)
- Fully capable of enjoying guilt free play & relaxation time with my kiddos & husband (I’m trying to teach myself that it’s okay to do nothing sometimes!!)
- Scheduling SPA -self-care time for me AND more frequent time slots to devote to and develop SPA Time Mom
And my first successful steps? I enjoyed some great family time this last week and holiday weekend. My little brother is in town and arrived to stay with us for a few weeks with an unexpected surprise: His new bulldog puppy named Porkchop.
Now….I’m not the best dog person – mostly because I have a hard enough time cleaning up after people! But he’s very cute, and the situation has taught me about being flexible; realzing how easy our outdoor dog is; and that having to take a puppy outside in the morning is a great way to welcome the day (okay, so I’m getting dragged around the yard a little, but the cool morning air is wonderful!) And, little Porkchop’s visit is temporary – hmmm, maybe this was all a ploy to teach me a lesson or two! 😉
