What is conscious/mindful living?

It’s about tuning into the choices you make in each moment. It’s learning to navigate this day and age of information and data overload without feeling so tired, overwhelmed and frazzled. We’ll work together to consciously create your life of meaning, passion and purpose by building you up as your healthy, strong foundation.

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Our work here is based on coaching and mentoring principles. Not therapy. Coaching and therapy both seek to support the individual and are delivered usually in-person or by phone sessions. They both help to take a person from where they are now, to where they want to be. But the similarities stop there. Here is a great article that helps illustrate the differences, thought I’ve summarized a few below.

Coaching deals with a healthy client desiring a better situation; deals mostly with a person’s present and seeks to help them design a more desirable future; Helps clients learn new skills and tools to build a more satisfying successful future; Co-creative equal partnership (Coach helps the client discover own answers); Assumes emotions are natural and normalizes them; The Coach stands with the client and helps him or her identify the challenges, then partners to turn challenges into victories, holding client accountable to reach desired goals. Growth and progress are rapid and usually enjoyable.

Whereas therapy deals with resolving past trauma and pain + identifiable dysfunctions. Progress is often slow and painful.

What happened to the online course?

There is such an influx of f.r.e.e trainings and programs that seem to be causing more harm than good when it comes to stressing you out! You sign up and don’t have time to finish or engage. What you need more than another obligation right now is someone who believes in you, inspires you and can help you take action on what matters most to you: thus my shift to supporting women through coaching.

When’s the next live retreat?

At this time, I’m only holding one intimate retreat per year, which usually falls around Mother’s Day.
