“Keep on going, and the chances are that you will stumble on something, perhaps when you are least expecting it. I never heard of anyone ever stumbling on something sitting down. ~Charles F. Kettering“
November and December are often so hectic. This year I added an intesive yoga teacher training to my schedule and have struggled to keep up the juggling act here. Something keeps dropping for me and so I’ve had to modify. To cut back. To restore balance. To say NO!
In yoga, I once heard that modifications are a sign of strength: you have achieved that inner stillness to recognize what your body & mind need. And in moving through this busy season…I will keep going, taking the modifications I need. I will ask for help. I will accept imperfection as perfectly human. And I will keep breathing….finding energy, comfort and stillness through yoga and it’s fluidity and rhythmic breathing. I choose to still make time for me where I can, so that I have the energy and love to give back to my children, my family and my friends.
